Where Does it hurt?

This is an upcoming public art program that confronts, head on the issue of time in our clinical healthcare system. Over the last 50 years, average doctors’ appointments have plummeted from 60 minutes to 12 minutes for new patients, 30 to 7 for returning patients. This lack of doctor-patient face-time contributes to the following overlapping national crises: physician burnout, society mistrust in medicine, and of course, negative patient outcomes.
